Marissa got her pretty long hair cut!

Ever since my younger daughter got her hair cut, my oldest, Marissa, has been begging to get hers cut. She has wanted to get it short for a long time now, like her cousin Kinzie's hair. She practically idolizes her cousin and wants to look like her and act like her. So, we finally relented and let her get her long locks cut off. At least she agreed to wait until her hair was long enough (pony tail of 8") to donate it to Children with Hairloss, Inc., an Organization that was created as a resource for ALL CHILDREN who have medically-related hair loss. It is their mission to empower these children to become whole again by making hair available to those who may be financially challenged and might otherwise not have a means of obtaining the hair they want and need. So, at least this haircut is not in vain...someone can use it. Here is a before picture...

And here are the after shots. I took several pictures because this is the first time (since she was 2) that her hair has been this short :o)

She absolutely loves it, and that is what is most important, right?

Her hair looks so cute! I can't even imagine my girls wanting their hair cut. They want it long like all the princesses! She looks adorable though. I love it :o)
